Best Seafood Restaurants in Sardinal

This was our favorite place. We loved their veggie burger so much. We came back three times. Marco was by far the best as far as service. Bravo to all the staff excellent over the top service. 

This turned out to be one of the two best meals we had while in the Guancaste region of Costa Rica. (The first was on the Palo Verde National Park tour lunch! Gallina Achiotada - homemade and will be learning to make this... SO GOOD!) We were concerned with Azul as our choice for an expensive meal out, having seen some very low star reviews but the menu looked good and we decided to give it a try as it is on the beach and pool and a lovely location. We were very pleased. We went at 530PM and were dazzled with the view of the sunset on the beach over the water. There were 6 of us and we all loved our food. Our group enjoyed the fish and shrimp ceviche, the grilled Octopus, seafood pasta, whole Snapper and Coconut Soup. I had a passionfruit cocktail that was excellent also. The service was 5 star, especially for Costa Rica as the "Pura Vida" life is wonderful but can be frustrating if you are not interested in enjoying a very relaxed timeline for drinks, courses, etc. It is pricey but I would not call it out of the ordinary for the area and for a very nice meal. We went on our last evening and it was perfect. We even had the pleasure of catching a fire show on the upper balcony after dinner. I do recommend bringing bug spray as it is on the beach and water, especially if you are going at sunset. We were feasted on while feasting. Despite this, as it was somewhat expected.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND AZUL.

Beautiful spot for our last meal. Warm service. Excellent fresh fish, fruit drinks, salad and desserts.

Food was very good. Drinks were ok, a little too strong. Table had partially obstructed view of water. Service was fantastic. Pink dessert and bone marrow app were highlights.

It was a stormy night, but the staff did not let it deter. The waiters were attentive and provided excellent service. The kitchen staff served us lovely food and all 6 of us enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed our time at The Beach House and look forward to returning.
