    I took my friend out for her birthday and asked if they’d be able to plate “happy birthday” in her native language somehow. They printed her a custom menu and gave it to us in a little scroll ◡̈ it was adorable and thank you a thousand times to whomever accommodated this request. Our server Jeanette was great and our food, drinks and desserts were delicious. Additionally, we were seated by the window and got a fun view of the Amtrak train running by.

    We love this place generally due to great staff and creative food options, but this most recent visit was exceptional. Tried Boudin for the first time and it was amazing with local asparagus and grits alongside. Even if you're not adventurous, food-wise, this is well worth trying!
