    Another outstanding experience at H&L. Service was on point and food was excellent. Love how the menu changes frequently, and the great care that goes into each new creation. Salmon was delectable, the short rib dish was devine, and of course the muscles were (and always are) the bomb! Thank you H&L for giving Santa Cruz a big city culinary experience, with local town charm. Shout out to Bridgette, Nate, & Samantha for making us feel like VIPs.

    Love this restaurant! Idk what they put in that basalmic but I could basically eat that and the bread the whole time and be a happy customer 😂 But tbh everything here is wonderful - great food, really lovely decor, and attentive staff. Overall just warm and nice. Really glad we found this restaurant ☺️

    Excellent service, delicious food, we had the shrimp cocktail,bread and awesome butter, truffled frites( ok) for appetizer. Dinner was pork chops, salmon and strip steak. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent and was very attentive to us.
