Best Steakhouses in Maplewood, New Jersey

Would recommend, and I would happily go back again. The food and drink were excellent! Staff was friendly, and the service was timely. The menu is a mix of steakhouse and American/Italian. There were no mis-steps in anything we ordered, well balanced cocktails, fresh appetizers, well cooked mains. Desserts were good, not great - but still a solid ending to a meal. The restaurant has two dining spaces, a dining room and an indoor/outdoor terrace. We went on a Sunday evening, and the dining room was closed because they weren't expecting a large crowd. The terrazza still served the full menu, but closed an hour earlier than the dining room would have (9pm vs 10pm). We would have happily stayed for another drink if the space was open. All in all, great experience and we will definitely be going back.

Great food. Location right on the waterfront. Rooftop bar, and if you’re into it, apparently cigars (though couldn’t indulge because of rain). Was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. Service was great and they went above to make us feel welcome. Definitely a come again place.

A great steakhouse experience ...

It was my mother and I first time at the Brooklyn chophouse and it was quite an experience. The service was very consistent and professional and pleasant. The food was excellent the Wong soup delicious, and fresh and the shrimp with broccoli and the shrimp. Fried rice was very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and colleagues. Also, my mother and I will be back soon when we visit downtown Manhattan thank you Brooklyn chophouse for the experience.

Ocean prime was an excellent choice to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary ! Service was excellent and the food was amazing ! Lobster bisque was the best I have ever had ! Definitely will be going back !
