Great Friends, Great Food, loads of fun. The chef was very entertaining and very talented in the art of Hibachi cooking. We were entertained the entire meal and the food was delicious.

We last dined at Magnus on the Water in Biddeford in 2024 and left saying we would be back. Tonight, we made good on that promise, and the experience was every bit as good as we remembered. My wife enjoyed a Phony Negroni mocktail, while I opted for a “Shoot the Messenger”—a shot of rye whiskey paired with a Narragansett beer. We shared yucca fries, a fall green salad, bluefin ceviche, and pepper-braised short ribs, all of which made for a delicious meal. We finished with a wonderful arroz con leche, the perfect ending to the evening. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and professional, and the overall experience was a delight. Magnus has clearly earned its place on our list of restaurants worth returning to, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. A couple of practical tips: reservations are a must, and finding on-street parking can be challenging. Both are well worth navigating for a meal like this!
