This spot is a fantastic choice for enjoying some amazing Japanese cuisine. The service is top-notch, and you’re treated like royalty from the moment you walk in—they’ll even take your coats and a hostess will guide you to your table. The server who takes your order is super helpful and makes it easy to pick out what you’d like. The food is beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Each dish has a unique flavour that keeps you guessing what’s next for your taste buds. Big thanks to the chef and the whole kitchen team! Every dish is perfectly prepared and presented. The chilli chicken salad had so many different flavours that you’ll want to savour every bite. The Nasu Tempura was also delicious. I’d definitely come back for more. I highly recommend you check it out and try the food—it’s truly amazing. Just a heads-up, please make reservations and be on time, even though there’s plenty of space.

Amazing experience! It was our first time there and the staff and food were exceptional. Staff welcomed us as soon as we walked in-we asked if we could sit on the patio-they found a seat for us right away. They were all so nice! The food was out of this world!! Great for sharing, and so satisfying. The portions are just right. They also found out it was my birthday and sent me a matcha cake (so delicious!), which I thought was so thoughtful. They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations.

This was such an amazing dinner experience! Took a friend who’s visiting from the east coast and she was blown away! Love how they were on top of it in terms of refilling tea! The fish was super fresh, they were able to accommodate my allergy. They did not rush us to get the bill let us chat u til we were ready. Looking forward to bringing my family back to try their teppanyaki experience!

We loved having the private tatami room. There were so many food options that it was difficult to choose but everything tasted great. The sushi and sashimi pieces were a little too big. Bite sized pieces would have been easier to eat. The service was great and overall we had a very good meal.

We celebrated Mother’s Day at Zen and the dinner did not disappoint. The courses were stunning visually, the taste was on point, and the service was top notch. The overall dining experience was pretty much what we expect from our favourite Japanese restaurant. Thank you Chef Kashiwabara and his team for making the evening and occasion memorable!
