Best Wineries in Lauderdale by the Sea

We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary with dinner at the Capitol Grille. The hostess, our waitress Amber, and John the GM were attentive and courteous. The food was outstanding. Started with a beet and goat cheese salad with pistachios and a light citrus vinaigrette, crispi calamari that was very tender and had the perfect amount of spice from the cherry peppers, and an order of tuna tartare that was very light and fresh. For the mains we chose the chef special, a bone in 16 oz filet mignon, as well as a NY aged strip aú poive with courvoisier cream sauce accompanied with mashed potatoes and wild mushrooms. Amber brought us a delicious créme brúlee dessert with fresh berries after. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was top tier. We always have a great meal at this location. Thanks to the staff for a great evening!

We absolutely adore Keese's and have probably stated as much in earlier reviews. The food is a wonderful selection of Greek dishes, some familiar and others become a discovery for the pallet. The setting is perfect - close to the LBTS center but not in the midst of its most congested areas. The staff really makes the meals especially delightful and engaging. Nancy was our primary server this latest go 'round. She and her colleagues work together to ensure we are taken care of with personality, flair and energy. Don't be surprised if you see another review from us for Keese's: we plan to return soon!
