Inspired by yakitori izakayas, Big Night is going to be putting seasonal British-ish produce on sticks and cooking it on our charcoal grill. We offer a specialist yakitori menu at dinner - skewers of free-range, slow-reared chicken over hot charcoal on our custom-made hibachi - as well as classic izakaya dishes, including miso black cod and tempura, accompanied by a curated selection of wines, Japanese sakes and whiskies. Our signature beak-to-tail menu features 17 Yakitori cuts. This set is available at dinner time and on weekdays only. It would require 2 working days' advance booking, and a 50% deposit. Really enjoyed the bottomless brunch! Our only issue was that there weren't enough veggie options and more meat options on the menu. For the vegan menu, there has to be a minimum of 2 people eating so where there were 3 meat eaters and myself as a pescatarian/veggie, I found not as many options. Justin the GM was very accommodating and took our feedback well and was kind to swap 1 of the meat starters for a fish option. He was very attentive and his staff were great too. Lovely food, we were at the back of the restaurant so we felt a little out of the way and not 'mingling' with others, but our group of 4 enjoyed ourselves nevertheless. We will happily return to another bottomless in the future as the food was delicious 😋
