I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The ham hock was very tasty and the Bakewell Cheesecake was delicious. Excellent and friendly service which was well-timed and professional , drinks were affordable.

As always we were warmly greeted and shown to our table.. Orders taken . Drinks delivered quickly as did warm flatbread and dips! (So moreish). Staff attentive, friendly and always well turned out. All three courses were served fresh and delicious. Not our first visit but the standards are kept very high. Well done all. Will return again soon.

We booked a table online through OpenTable for The Seafood Shack, only to arrive and discover the restaurant was actually closed that day. This was entirely an OpenTable booking error and not the restaurant’s fault. Despite the mix-up, the team couldn’t have handled it better. We were greeted warmly, treated with genuine kindness and understanding, and they even offered us a complimentary drink for the inconvenience, which was a lovely gesture and completely unexpected. It’s easy to judge a business when something goes wrong, but the true measure is how they respond. The staff turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a positive one through excellent customer service. We really appreciated the way they looked after us and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Thank you to the team for going above and beyond! Although we didn’t eat, I have given a five star for the food as I didn’t want it to reflect badly. They even helped us think of another place to go to. I couldn’t praise them enough
