Portions are huge, the Chicken Liver starter is to die for and had I known it was a full size adult portion I would have ordered it for my main. - LLauraLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Mar 27, 2026We’ve never reviewed The Grove before as it’s our local and we’ve been coming for years, but after a recent visit we felt it deserved a proper shout-out. It had been a little while since we last came, and with a new team and updated menu, we had such a fab dinner. It was a busy Friday night, always a good sign, and we were given a table right by the kitchen which worked perfectly for us and our two kids (aged 6 and 2). It still felt lively but comfortable. We were looked after by Dylan, who was brilliant. Polite, prompt, and especially attentive when it came to our kids’ food, as we have allergies in the family. Both Dylan and the chef were fantastic and made everything to order without hesitation, which we really appreciated. We all had the fish and fries, usually a favourite but sometimes hit and miss. This time it was the best we’ve ever had. The sauces have clearly had an upgrade too. The tartare was really good, and even the curry sauce and mushy peas, which I wouldn’t usually go for, were spot on. A lovely glass of organic Malbec for us, apple juice for the kids, and exactly the kind of relaxed, easy evening we needed after a long week and the end of term. Thanks so much to the whole team, we’ll definitely be back again soon. xMore infoThe Grove in Ealing££££• Gastro Pub• Ealing / Ealing Broadway•4
