Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves. The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do. This is exciting times for the pub which now has a new bar serving real ale straight from the cask. Be sure to check out the website regularly to keep up with the latest events and offers.

Table for 3 on a Friday evening. Attentive service, good and varied menu, great ambience…calm and friendly with a little buzz and lots of people enjoying the pub and its grounds - we were in the dining room which was comfortable and airy. Food arrived in a timely manner and was very nicely presented. I enjoyed pan grilled prawns, followed by an excellent fish platter (it was Friday!), ending with a tarte citron and all washed down with a 0% cider. All perfect, however I was slightly jealous of Mrs.W’s lamb and my daughter’s chocolate brownie. There’s always next time…looking forward to that already!

To start with you are greeted by a warm friendly staff and atmosphere. The food was outstanding, cooked and presented very nicely and extremely tasty. Nothing was too much trouble and it was very welcoming and cosy. I think the prices were very fair and in line with most places we had been too recently. We will certainly go back again.
