We had the most wonderful experience dining at The Ivy in Guildford yesterday to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, the reception was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a truly special couple of hours. We were given the best table outside, with a beautiful view overlooking the castle — it made the occasion feel even more memorable. The sommelier was an absolute delight: knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely added to the overall experience. The food was delicious from start to finish, and the cocktails were just as impressive — perfectly made and full of flavour. Combined with the stunning surroundings, it really is such a beautiful restaurant. We wouldn’t hesitate to return again for another special occasion. A perfect way to celebrate!

Went for an anniversary dinner, quite a few new dishes and drinks since we last went. We had zucchini, chicken Kyiv & courgette linguine, cookie dough & apple tart, and two cocktails, hidden door & secret garden. All lovely

First time visit and found the place to have very lively atmosphere but not noisy. Good decoration and service was very attentive although one or two mistakes. Food was served very quickly and tasted great. Really good flavours. Overall I was impressed.

Seldom can one find a consistently good restaurant on all fronts. The standard never diminishes in any area.
