Sherwin Jacobs heads the kitchen and delivers quality, fresh, local produce, much of which is grown in the no-dig garden and onsite polytunnel. The food is award-winning - Best Premium Food, Good Food Guide, Food Made Good Award, 2 star rosette kitchen etc. Private dining is available across several charismatic rooms in the main house - The Old Kitchen, The Victorian Room and The Oak Room. There are 24 rooms available and the Barns venue across the courtyard is regarded as one of the best wedding venues in the country, regularly winning awards. Beautiful location, traditional tasty Malay food. We ate in the courtyard, really felt like we are on holiday. Friendly staff, food came out in reasonable time.

We had an early dinner at Roca - shared some starters and then a main each. The food arrived quickly and was all delicious. Portions were decent without being too much. Drinks were really nice and reasonable for cocktails. The stand out part was definitely the service. They were a young team but all of them were polite, professional and helpful. Will definitely return !
