Best Date Night Restaurants in Motspur Park

We went to celebrate a friends birthday. Whilst the restaurant was busy we did not have to wait for service. Our waitress was very professional and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

The restaurant is celebrating 25 years in Surbiton and deservedly so. We enjoyed the tasting menu and paired wines as a special celebration ahead of a family wedding. It was delightful in every way, busy with like minded couples and families enjoying the summer half term heat in a nicely cooled environment. Exacting attention to detail, fabulous service and scrumptious food. What’s not to like. Well worth the short trip from Molesey. The various menu options are an invitation to frequent more often were so pleased we chose to try it after not visiting for a long time. What a gem in every way.

The iconic Bluebird continues to deliver time after time, from Rachel at Front of House through to all the staff members who looked after our table, you cannot fault it. This is my 3rd visit so far in 2026 and whether you want lunch for 2, a business meeting for 4 or something in between, you are greeted by the amazing Rachel to kick start your experience. At a time when other restaurants can sometimes make you feel rushed within your allocated time slot, this venue feels relaxed and considered. 10/10

I went here with my husband for his birthday and I enjoyed myself. Our server was very friendly and nice.. whole experience was good!!! Food was tasty and the lobster I had was worth it!!! I would recommend this place for nice meal plus catch-up!!
