Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Dymchurch

I wanted a tea that wasn’t too twee and was a bit quirky while still keeping that lovely afternoon tea feel, and this was perfect. The Patisserie is lovely inside, the staff are wonderful and attentive and the food itself was absolutely delicious. We had a lovely afternoon at the Fancy Fox and would highly recommend them.

Had an afternoon tea at the Abode, Canterbury. The food was exceptional, there was a good variety of sandwiches, wraps, sausage rolls and quiche. There were the traditional fruit scones with cream and jam and the cakes were delicious. All the food was amazing and plenty of it. There was a good selection of different teas to choose from as well. The service was very good, they did not rush us and were very polite and courteous. It made my friend’s birthday celebration very special and will definitely be going back again. Highly recommend, such good value for money.

the service was lovely and very attentive, the table beautifully set. It has been a pleasure to sit and have a really nice cup of tea. Only thing: the variety for vegetarians could be more creative, e.g. using not only cheese or eggs for the sandwiches but avocado, cucumber or something green and fresh. But all in all I really can recommend it and hope to be back in Eastwell Manor for an Afternoon Tea soon. Many thanks!

Service was impeccable! Because of the size of our party (7), we were given the option to go in the main dining room. This worked very well as we could all hear each other so everyone was involved in conversations. The food was lovely and all dietary requirements were catered for. We were even given boxes to take away any items we couldn’t manage to eat!

My partner and I attended this venue on Valentine’s Day for their afternoon tee. The service was amazing everyone was friendly and it felt as we wasnt just left waiting to be noticed. The food itself was really really good with most afternoon tees I have found the portion sizes to be very small however it was the opposite with the Churchill bar. Everything was a good size and extremely fresh. Definitely recommend
