Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Earlsfield

Great ambience and very clean place. The desserts, scones, and teas (especially the pomegranate and English tea) were delicious. I also loved the aircon fan inside the bubble as it made it much more comfortable. The sandwiches were a little dry and plain, but overall it was a lovely experience.

The iconic Bluebird continues to deliver time after time, from Rachel at Front of House through to all the staff members who looked after our table, you cannot fault it. This is my 3rd visit so far in 2026 and whether you want lunch for 2, a business meeting for 4 or something in between, you are greeted by the amazing Rachel to kick start your experience. At a time when other restaurants can sometimes make you feel rushed within your allocated time slot, this venue feels relaxed and considered. 10/10

Beautiful location tucked away in a luxury boutique hotel. Quiet and serene tea room. Some tranquil background music would have been lovely. Joynab, our server, made our first afternoon tea in London very special.

My friend and I had a 'festive menu' lunch experience just after Thanksgiving. We each selected a different starter and main course and were both very happy with our choices. The food was delicious - I would say one of the best soups I've eaten in a restaurant and the turkey roast dinner was exceptional. The staff were attentive at just the right level. A special mention to Daniela and Dan who were most helpful. We had not dined here before, but thanks to OpenTable we have discovered a real gem!
