What an amazing find! A gourmet-southwestern restaurant with a terrific wine list and excellent craft cocktails right in the heart of downtown/shopping area of Colorado Springs. I wouldn't be surprised if Michelin endowed them with a star when they begin their southwestern tour later this year (2026) The ambiance is very upscale with service to match. The menu is very varied - the main idea is to get four courses of smaller sized dishes but there is a longer tasting menu and a la carte options as well. We got the four course menu and loved every bite. My husband and I had different things and shared so we ended up tasting eight different dishes - all of which were winners. The Oaxaca beet tamal with oyster mushroom asada and ramp pesto was a standout as well as the rabbit empanada with a not-too-spicy habanero carrot puree, celery see oil and pea and carrot relish. The bread course was a beautiful dish all on its own: blue corn and green chili flavors melded with a gorgeous berry compote. Plain warm deliciousness. We also loved the Chile crested elk tenderloin with ahi Amarillo yogurt, mushrooms salsa and quinoa fritter. I could go on and on; every dish was such a lovely surprise. The service is top-notch as well. David is an excellent and accomplished waiter who was attentive to our every request. The cocktails are amazing and the wine list is excellent and well-priced. We started with the "Flower of the Dead" cocktail complete with a floating marigold (a la Day of the Dead) which was original and well-balanced : a mezcal drink - contained blood orange, temps fugue, heavy cream and muddled marigold -and my husband, who likes more alcohol forward drinks, got a "The Tradition that Almost Died" with highland par 12 year old scotch, cronans Swedish lunch, italics and ancho Reyes Chile verde. He loved it as well. The DuMol Russian River Pinot Noir went well with every dish; a solid choice. This restaurant alone is good reason to visit Colorado Springs.

Took a friend from out of town and everything was fantastic!! The food , service and scenery was amazing!! Our friend couldn’t stop raving about the experience!!
