Best Restaurants with a Scenic View in Swansea, Greater Boston

Fantastic food & great service in a beautiful area

It was our first time in Providence. Cafe Nuovo is a don’t miss restaurant. Great food, great staff, great ambience.

We had a lovely late lunch at the Coast Guard House. It is one of our favorite places to eat by the water in New England. Our server Josh, was truly incredible. He was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and one of the best servers we have had at this restaurant. The meals we ate were outstanding. My husband had the Salmon dish and he loved it and it was cooked medium rare to perfection. I had the Chicken Piccata and it was the best Piccata I have ever had. So full of flavor and the green beans and red potatoes were delicious. We highly recommend reservations if you want to eat here, and dining outside by the ocean is always refreshing and good for the body, mind, heart and soul.

We had not been to The Mooring in some time and wanted to see what had changed since our last visit. When I made the reservation, I informed the restaurant that the dinner was a special occasion- our 36th wedding anniversary. The host greeted us warmly and we were shown to our table. Our table was one of the best in the building right on the water looking out at Newport Harbor. On the table was a card signed by several members of the staff. The menu is varied and everyone should be able to find something on it to satisfy their tastes. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The restaurant has a decent wine list that covers many varietals and all price points. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and it will not be long before we return.

Great food, service was excellent and we had a beautiful view. Our waitress Kylie was excellent and right on top of things. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
