Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall.     My first time in Manchester and my first time at gaucho, taking on a girl on a date for the first time also. Staff were great and the bar man at the front of the house was very chatty and a nice bloke 👌 shares the same love of whisky as me. The food was absolutely incredible! I’m a huge critic when it comes to steaks but it was easily one of the best I’ve had and the mash potato was so creamy. The service was also brilliant considering a lot of the staff looked quite young, we were served by a tall, very young Romanian guy who was always smiling and had great banter. So I will without doubt remember this place and come back whenever I’m in the Manchester area.

    The rib eye steaks melted in the mouth, and cooked to perfection! Lovely starters and all round value for money. They also brought my son a little cheesecake with a candle as we were there for his Birthday. My second visit, again didn't disappoint
