Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Holly Springs, Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill

We got to raise every year for anniversary and our never disappointed.

We were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary and the special attention given made it very special. From rose petals at our table to a handwritten card to a delicious complimentary desert, it was a wonderful experience. The steak was prepared perfectly and the baked potato was delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a special occasion at Oak Steakhouse-Raleigh. The food and service was excellent! We would highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

This place never disappoints. We love the food - I had the grilled salmon and it was delicious. My husband had the catfish and it was wonderful. Everything we had was perfectly prepared. Our server was great - one in our party asked for a special sauce for her dish and our server brought out several for her to choose from. And he kept filling our drinks! The price was reasonable and the ambiance was very pleasant. We love this restaurant!

This is a fabulous place to eat; we try to go here at least once every couple of months. This time we had an early reservation on a weeknight, so the place was the opposite of crowded, but in the past the dining area has been full of energetic folks enjoying a meal and good company. We have never had anything close to a not-so-good meal here - their chef and the dishes they choose for each season are simply wonderful. This time, my partner wanted the short ribs, but they were out of that for the evening, so she ordered the vegetarian Roasted Vegetable Cannelloni, and she said it was absolutely wonderful, and that she would get this again (she's not a vegetarian!). For me, an apéritif of a standard Old Fashioned was wonderful, and a lovely Bordeaux Blanc with my meal (a parmesan-encrusted grouper) was the perfect match. (And yes, I realize an Old Fashioned is not a traditional apéritif, but that's what I felt like having - and it was great!). Highly recommend Chef's Palette - I don't think it's possible to be disappointed.
