Best Vegan Restaurants in Nuevo Vallarta

Excellent food, service and show. Highly recommended

Another visit to this restaurant near my resort. Service was good and servers were attentive. The cerviche was delicious but may be a bit too salty. The sea bass and whole snapper were delicious!! Prices are increasing in most restaurants we dined inNV and P V. will come back again next trip here!!

Lovely dinner at Makal last night. Began with a great cocktail. The “ice” was a block of frozen fruit—what a great idea. Food was wonderful (and different from other menus)—some of the best mole I have ever eaten—made me feel like I was back in Oaxaca. Choice of à la carte and fixed price “journey” of small plates with or without drink pairings. Server (Misa) was great—attentive, personable, fun. Chef came out of kitchen to make sure we were happy. Decor is lovely. This is a top spot—especially for special occasions (they were decorating for a birthday party when we were leaving)—and fully air conditioned so a perfect spot for the summer months. Should have been more people there so hope more turn out for this wonderful experience.

The food was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the risotto was creamy and tasty. The spinach salad with apples , nuts, cranberries, cheese, etc was very good too. The music was amazing! The guitar player and saxophonist performed a wonderful mix of dinner music songs. I love the guitarist’s voice and interpretation of classic hits.

Excellent food, relaxing rooftop vibe & the service is above & beyond. The staff even went to a local shop to purchase non-alcoholic beer for our friend as they did not have any on their drink menu. Highly recommend!
