Very welcoming, hospitable and accommodating. Good wine list. Interesting menu.Padron peppers and white bait were excellent starters. The chicken with asparagus, quinoa etc was delicious. We were given a quiet table which suited us as we were a group of old friends meeting for first time in ages-lots of catching up to do. Recommend

We like to dine mid afternoon and had a very quiet meal around a huge round table for the 4 of us. The woodsman snacks of venison scotch eggs, etc was perfect to share. Fish and Chips were delicious- curried mayonnaise was a good accompaniment. My son found his burger was excellent. Good choice of drinks. Friendly service, We will certainly return.

I visited this hotel with a friend on a Wednesday evening and I can honestly say everything was exceptional! The staff were very attentive, they were pleasant, polite and helpful. The food was presented very nicely and was delicious. The wine was good. The atmosphere was perfect as was the scenery outside. I would definitely visit again!
