Inspired by the best pizza of New York City and Naples, Italy. In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand. In 2014, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto. This energetic, farmers-to-table restaurant serves up Neapolitan-inspired pizza complemented by a daily-changing roster of seasonal antipasti, piatti (small entrees), beer, wine and more.     The best pizza ever and we are from New Haven CT, the pizza capital of the USA. We have also eaten at places which have earned best pizza in the world recognition but your crust and red sauce blow them all away! The local smelts were delicious and the lemony vinaigrette on the tricolore salad was divine. Too bad I live so far away otherwise I’d be there every week.

    We are so sad to see our favorite date spot go! Delizie was one of a kind - a true gem that made use always feel so welcomed. Being there on their last night, we realized how many other people also were made to feel welcomed, while enjoying some of the best Italian food outside of Italy. Francesco and Giuseppe and the whole crew are the best. We hope they come back and open another amazing spot soon! xx

    Celebrated my Sisters Graduation. They had put confetti on our table which we thought was a great touch. Dinner was great. The service was friendly. Would definitely stop by again!

    We had a great family dinner made most enjoyable by the accommodating staff members. They were attentive, patient, and most of all helpful. We found the meatball appetizer tasty - firm yet tender meat with a moderately spicy red sauce. The pepper fries appetizer was just ok. We wish the crostini was another standalone option. Pizza was great as was the pappardelle. The salmon spiedini skewer is a great add on to the Caesar salad and as an entree as well. Best thing on the menu. All-in-all a pleasant experience worth doing again.
