Best Healthy Restaurants in Gunnersbury

La Trompette is my most favorite restaurant in all of London, heck all of England! I have been known to purposefully change my travel plans just to experience another meal at this exceptional establishment. These accolades are based on everything we always experience from the perfect staff and service, to the wonderful wines, and to the fantastic food. For example, last night we began with dressed oysters accompanied by a bottle of Jacques Lassaigne Vigne Montgeux. This was followed by an incredible summer truffle and chicken agnolotti as well as lobster & scallop tortellini that were served with a divine Puligny Montrachet by Jacques Carillon. Oh yes. We had two bottles of that incredible libation. Our main was a presentation of two variations of spring lamb. Unbelievable. Simply perfect. This was accompanied by an inspirational bottle of Olivier Bernstein Chambolle Les Lavrottes which I can still taste now. Since we needed to absorb a bit of the last of the red wine we had a wonderful tour of cheese morsels. And, finally, we finished with a delectable dessert - raspberry millefeuille. What can I say? Was the evening an example of a bit of gluttony? Probably, but oh was it good! I cannot wait for my next sinful experience at La Trompette.
