Best Historic Restaurants in Morrisania

Great experience from start to finish. Old world charm with very attentive wait staff. The food was delicious. I had the beef stragonoff for my entree. My husband had the beef Wellington. They were both delicious. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Fraunces Tavern never disappoints!

Fantastic location and ambience, with a relaxed feel. Staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the T-bone steak which came with lobster mac n cheese and asparagus, we also ordered Parmesan truffle fries and broccoli as sides and mussels as an entree. We could not fault at all, the ingredients were fresh and great quality, all very well cooked and delicious. By far the best meal we had in New York. Would highly recommend.

What a delightful place to dine before a show. Could not be more perfect. I love everything about Sardi's. Including the old wallpaper on the bathroom walls and the banister. But mainly their staff. It's the people that make the place. To the new owners, I sincerely hope that all existing staff can return post-renovation, and sure, fine if time for the bathrooms to get a refresh, but please don't refresh too much. We don't need another glam or generic makeover. Please keep Sardi's as Sardi's. We need to preserve our New York treasures, and this is one fine example.

One of the best steaks we’ve had. Loved the atmosphere. Service was top notch and the wine suggestions were fabulous. Will be back.
