- WWilliamGoldAtlanta •78 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt is difficult to pull off a total success but Southern Roots makes the grade. Punctuating a great menu with even better specials, and add spectacular service and a recipe for a great evening is born. A petit filet perfectly prepared to temperature and a grouper special was the fare paired with a nice Caymus Cab. Pre dinner wedge salad and gumbo was delightful. Add the ambiance of a sunset and you will see why we were pleased. Ask for Camden who served with distinction. A great place for a special night.More infoSouthern Roots - Grand Hotel$$$$• Farm-to-table• Fairhope•4.8

The pork chop in the lollichops were on point. Wrapped it up with some dessert, cocktails, and crème brûlée. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️More infoThe District - Seville Steak & Seafood$$$$• Steakhouse• Pensacola•4.7

The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and has a unique charm that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. We had George as our server, and he was fantastic. He was attentive, personable, and a great conversationalist who made our evening even more enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to meet Chef Darian, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. His food is phenomenal and truly speaks for itself. We started with the charcuterie board and enjoyed the filet as our entrée—both were absolutely perfect. Every bite was expertly prepared and full of flavor. The drinks were equally impressive and complemented the meal beautifully. To make the experience even better, we stayed at the upstairs hotel and visited the speakeasy. Having exceptional dining, lodging, and cocktails all in one place made it feel like a true one-stop destination. From the food and drinks to the hospitality and atmosphere, everything was top-notch. A perfect experience, and we can’t wait to return!More infoBrother Fox$$$$• Spanish• Pensacola•4.7
