Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Redwood City

Excellent service and wonderful dining experience with delicious food celebrating a birthday.

We had tried Portola Bistro several times before, but this visit exceeded our expectations. The roasted beet salad was the perfect balance of ingredients and the two pasta dishes we ordered were delicious - maybe the best lasagna I've ever had. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We'll be back!

Parkside Grille is the best restaurant in the Bay Area. You can’t go wrong with the halibut, the ribs or the burger! Their soups are consistently good and the artichoke is my favorite. The wait staff never rushes you and always considers special requests. Dining on the outside patio is always great in good weather. Hope, the hostess, is gracious and friendly. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful restaurant in our neighborhood.

What great flavors -- definitely an up level pizza experience! We got the heirloom tomato salad (w pesto and burrata cheese) - it was so good! Then we had the pork meatballs small plate and finished with the spicy sausage and honey pizza and the potato pizza. It was absolutely delicious and the staff was exceptional.

We had a fabulous dining experience celebrating my partner’s birthday. There were 9 of us and it was really nice to not be forced to order from a prix fixe menu. The cocktails were excellent, all of the food was superb. We were tucked away in a back corner so it felt like a private space. Thanks to the entire team for a memorable experience!
