Restaurants near Budgetel Inn and Suites - Glen Ellyn

This was our 2nd time visiting - our server was very helpful, and offered me some intel on how the chicken kyiv is made (it's ground light/dark meat). We had the cheese curds (outstanding), the smashburger, fried chicken sandwich, and the cauliflower sandwich. The cauliflower sandwich was delicious-the half I took home was good cold for lunch the next day. I ordered it with a side salad which was big and very fresh. It had sliced radish, cucumber, bell pepper, and red onion on it, and there was a choice of 3 dressings. My husband and son liked their sandwiches (burger was still very salty) and they enjoyed the beers they ordered. It was not quite as noisy this time-maybe because the windows to the street were open. We will be back to try some of the other menu options - it was hard to choose!

I went here by myself for lunch and the staff were absolutely wonderful. My server was pleasant, friendly, and attentive. The hostess was great to talk to. We shared a nice conversation and I learned how kind the owner is and how great he treats his employees. I interacted with a couple other employees as well and they all were so nice. My burger, salad, and wine were delicious as always. I recommend the sparkling almond wine. Thank you for a terrific lunch experience!

this was my first time here in the food was fabulous. I had the artichoke rotelle and it was delicious. Service was great. I can’t wait to go back.
