Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season.     Went to celebrate my birthday and was not disappointed! The service was excellent, the food was some of the best I have ever had and the scenery was truly amazing! I highly recommend! We will be back!

    After a disappointing dinner the night before, this dinner was excellent. The service was perfect, the food and wine were well served. What we wanted was available, was cooked as ordered and temperature was as expected. The F&B Manager, Lance Green, greeted us and was aware of the previous night's dinner. Hal, the Maitre d', seated us at a beautiful table, server, Samantha, was really professional, sommelier, Ruth, had a great recommendation on the wine. The chef Christopher, even came out to ask us about our meal and thanked us for coming. Overall, it was a really, really nice dinner.

    A little getaway to Mentone. We had a great dinner at this unique restaurant. It’s a little pricey but you know the saying you get what you pay for, you will not be disappointed with their menu. If you have the opportunity definitely check them out.
