Greenwich Grind is an all-day restaurant, coffee spot, and cocktail bar in historic Greenwich, just moments from the market and the Cutty Sark. It’s the perfect space for drinking and dining—whether you’re enjoying specialty coffee, a bottomless brunch, a relaxed set menu during the week, or evening cocktails. Our beautiful conservatory offers a bright, relaxed setting for weekend brunch, and we serve roast dinners every Sunday. To ensure clear walkways for guests and staff, prams cannot be kept beside tables during service.A designated pram park area is provided for this purpose.

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Had an excellent brunch at The Grind on the weekend. While the food was delicious, it was the service and high energy of the waiters that really blew us away. Sometimes a little goes really far and when your waiter has a sense of humour and really attentive (we were a table of 11) it makes all the difference. Great ambience too in the conservatory, proper vibes-ey. Definitely coming back.

Food was excellent. Staff were great. The whole group enjoyed it. The only negative would be - for the price point (the food is good) the restaurant ambience needs to feel a little more premium as a i suspect most people are going for an occasion, night out and not just casual dining.
