Restaurants near Huntington Museum of Art

My server was amazing. She is great. I told her I was there on a first date and she was checking in on me and making sure the vibes were good!

The restaurant is lovely and honestly being greeted at the door with a warm smile and kind young lady elevated the evening right from the beginning. Our server was lovely and helpful (I didn’t quite understand her name) and very efficient. We had meatballs with polenta and Sunday ribbons plus the dessert chips and dip. They even added a “Happy Anniversary” chocolate to our dessert. The food was lovely and delicious! The Sunday ribbons will probably become my go to. I’m bad about finding something I love and staying with it for every visit. The pasta was perfect and the sauce was tasty without being “hot.” The restrooms were immaculate as was the entire restaurant. The music selection and volume were perfect. If I could change one thing it would be to not sit groups so close together when there’s plenty of room not to. We couldn’t help but hear the table next to us as there was barely any room between our tables. When our wait staff was interacting we had to completely stop our conversation. There were plenty of empty tables and the servers walked by all of them with each dish or order.

Christopher's Eats has come a long way since I first tried it years ago. The food, while not bad before, is much better now. My personal favorite is the black and bleu ribeye. All the diners at our table last night said their food was good. Was it the best ribeye I've had? No. But it was pretty darn good. The sides were good as well. It was hard to get the staff's attention at times for refills, etc, but they were very nice and cordial. I would dine there again. If there was a 4.5 star option, that is what I would score it tonight.

I had not been at the Huntington WV or any other Red Lobster for at least 10 years. This is due to poor care of facilities and lack luster service. My group of 7 were all pleasantly pleased with our visit. The facility was clean. The service was good. The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. We will return.

The employees were fantastic & the food was great! Will definitely be returning!
