My second attempt to try food here (my first reservation was accepted but on arrival the place was closed - for weeks!). This attempt I was the only diner at first (a Wednesday at 17:00) so I had a peacfull meal. The starter I had was extremely tasty although an unusual choice for me being as It was non-meat (Papoutsaki Imam). I thouroughly enjoyed. The main i chose was 'Kleftico' - I was expecting a diash with slow cooked meat in a sort of stew, however this was not the case - The actual dish was potentialy far better. A tender Lamb Shank in a bowl with 'jus', the meat just falling off the bone. Alongside, soem roast potatoes. The meat was absolutley delicious and the jus (presumably cooking juices) out of this world. The only negative I had, was that I was served the starter and main practically together and had to request that the Kleftico be served after I had finished the starter! I will remember next time to make clear that I want them served with a break between!!!

The best meal we had in Edinburgh by FAR. The service was fantastic and the food was so good. You have to get the bread. 10/10

What an absolutely fabulous experience at The Ivy 🤩✨ From the moment we walked in, everything was simply flawless. The atmosphere was elegant, vibrant and full of charm, making it feel incredibly special from start to finish. The décor is stunning and creates such a luxurious yet welcoming vibe. The food was exceptional — beautifully presented, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Every dish felt like a real treat and the cocktails were equally incredible 🍸😍 What truly made the experience stand out was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive, friendly, professional and made us feel completely looked after throughout the entire visit. Nothing was too much trouble. The Ivy delivers the perfect mix of glamour, amazing food and outstanding hospitality. Whether it’s for a celebration, date night or simply treating yourself, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Already looking forward to returning very soon ✨🥂

Really friendly place. I had to wait for my dining companion & staff were really kind & helpful. Dietary requirements were catered for without fuss or drama. Food was delicious & plentiful

The afternoon tea was lovely. From start to finish the service was great. There was a slight hiccup with our order but the man who I am assuming was a manager sorted it as soon as he was made away. Very accommodating with our dietary requirements. Based on our experience we will definitely recommend but we will most definitely be back
