Flor de Maiz is the latest concept from the creators of Los Agaves Restaurants, located on Santa Barbara’s waterfront. Oaxacan inspired cuisine + modern mixology. Xochimoyahuatl is the flower or spigot of the milpa, inspiration whose name, Flor de Maíz, has its origin. It is now how the tribes of pre-Hispanic Mexico venerated corn as the seed of life, between the creation and the sacred.     Peter was amazing, accommodating to all of my parties needs. Knowledgable about the menu and the different offerings of the sushi bar! Great upsell on the hamachi and salmon belly. Made my birthday experience one for the books. Oku stands out thanks to its phenomenal location and extensive menu. Again thank you Peter and the rest of the support staff that made the evening a great one!

    It was my first time in Santa Barbara and was looking for a decent place to have breakfast. Although some other places do tend to fill up and get busy pretty fast including Goat Tree so make sure to reserve your tables and come at least on time. I had the breakfast slammer which comes with potatoes, bacon, eggs, and sourdough toast. Pan au chocolat croissant, and iced latte. Pretty decent size and portion of the plates, price point was okay. The place looked amazing and very modern bakery/cafe vibes. I got sat outside which was a nice morning and it was indeed a lovely breakfast to start the day
