- MMariaPhoenix / Arizona •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe attended the Cowboy cookout on a Wednesday evening in May. Location: scenic drive, out of the way, felt like a getaway right out side of Tucson. Venue: all inclusive hotel, bar on site, picturesque views!! Dinner is outside in dirt, decorated with bistro lights, wooden picnic tables, and live music. Bathrooms are clean. Also have horseshoes. Service: OUTSTANDING. it’s always the service and welcoming vibe that sets experiences apart. Reception desk answered a bunch of questions and gave us a lot of valuable info! Bar was slammed, but was still able to get our drinks fairly quick. They had a golf cart service to take us from reception down to the Cottonwoods area where the cookout was. Our driver was so personable and seemed like he really enjoyed his job. Food: buffet style with servers at the meat stations. Yummy cod, bbq chicken, but the star was definitely brisket and ribs. (This differs depending on which day of week you attend) cornbread, salad, Mac and cheese, baked potatoes, two dessert options, watermelon, and more! Drinks included in price are lemonade, ice tea, water, hot water & tea bags, coffee, and decaf coffee.More infoTanque Verde Guest Ranch$$$$• Southwest• Downtown Tucson•4.8
