We had the most wonderful dinner last night at LA Perch for our best friend’s 60th birthday, and JR Nilluang truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he made the four of us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made the evening feel so personal. JR even took us to a cozy spot by the fireplace for a bit and then upstairs for cocktails, which made the night feel even more special. It honestly felt like we were guests in his home. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were divine, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back, and we will absolutely be asking to see JR again. Thank you for making such an important celebration so memorable!

The food is wonderful - inventive, excellent ingredients and delicious. The wines top notch - I always enjoy the French reds. Camelia has a warm, welcoming vibe, but what is most outstanding are the friendly, professional staff - Luis is a brilliant server and Patric a terrific sommelier and master of ceremonies

Had an incredible dinner at Bavel. The farm cheese was rich and perfectly balanced, the lamb shawarma was unbelievably tender and flavorful, and the malawach was the kind of bread you keep reaching for long after you’re full. The oyster mushroom kebab was a standout — smoky, savory, and surprisingly hearty. Every dish felt thoughtful and layered with flavor. Our waitress was so pleasant, personable, and genuinely helpful throughout the evening, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. The service matched the quality of the food perfectly. Easily one of the best dining experiences in LA recently.
