We have wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful dining experience. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly and made well crafted cocktails. We came early and had a relaxing stroll around the grounds with our drinks. We had a lovely table by the window. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. Dinner was excellent and good value. The crispy duck was delicious! We appreciated the special touches for our anniversary. It was a fantastic evening.

This was our first time back after many years. The entire experience was absolutely outstanding. We were seated inside next to a window, as requested. Our server, Jorge, made the night for us. He was very welcoming, helped the bartender with one of our special requested cocktails, and proceeded to recommend all of our appetizers and main course. He talked us out of one dish and the halibut he recommended was beautifully presented and the taste was excellent. We go to restaurants frequently in the Sarasota area and is one of the best or is the best. Highly recommended

Ample parking, great service, great food and drinks. The outdoor patio has blinds that keep the sun out without losing the view. The service was perfect for our table of TEN! All the food came out at the same time, all meals were actually hot and everyone of us enjoyed their meals. The best and importantly, the restaurant gave $30.00 off a Veterans dinner on Memorial Day....so generous and such a thoughtful gesture. Praise from all of the staff for taking the time to thank the Veterans! ...I give Deep Lagoon a 5 star rating for a 5 star restaurant.

This was my first time dining at Connors. Overall very happy with the experience and would recommend it to others. We had the classic shrimp cocktail as a starter and the shrimp were very well sized, presented well, tasted great. House salad and lobster/crab bisque next. Both fantastic. Salad crisp and fresh. Bisque definitely the highlight of the two. Thicker than others I’ve tasted but still luscious and velvety, perfect vehicle for their house warmed bread to sop up. Everything you’d want in a bisque. I had espresso rubbed NY Strip with a baked potato and my guest had classic ribeye. We split asparagus. My strip was perfectly cooked medium rare and espresso crust quite delicious against red wine demiglacé. The ribeye took well marbled to the limit. It was a bit grizzly for my taste but tasted very good. Strip is way to go. Baked potato done classic steakhouse style and delicious. Asparagus was only true disappointment food wise. 4 measly stalks were mushy and drowned. Embarrassing presentation, quality and quantity. Skip that and go with broccoli if looking to add something green to main meal. Chocolate mousse cake split for dessert. Combo of white and dark, decadent and rich. Paired well with coffee. Wine list solid but nothing to write home about. Prices actually a bit under typical double/triple or higher inflated prices at restaurants. Service was really good. Friendly, attentive staff. Only complaint is we had to ask for courses to be cleared from table each time. This is what took the rating from great to really good. Overall, very happy with the meal and will go back.

This place has a very small menu compared to many restaurants, but it’s the perfect amount of choices and so far everything that we have ever had there has been outstanding. It is definitely a restaurant I will go back to again and again. One of my favorite dishes is there short ribs which are delectable and tender and just so well-made. Last night, my friend and I both had fish dishes, which were both extraordinary. I had the scallops and shrimp with gnocchi and I cannot say enough about it. It was so delicious. My friend had the crusted grouper which she absolutely adored. I highly recommend this restaurant.
