Dining at UMAI in Puerto Vallarta was truly one of the most unforgettable Asian culinary experiences we’ve had anywhere. From the moment we arrived, every detail of the evening was exceptional. Fidel prepared our Teppanyaki dinner and it was absolutely outstanding. The flavors, creativity, and combinations of food were impeccable — easily among the best Teppanyaki experiences we have ever had worldwide. His skill, presentation, and attention to detail made the meal not just dinner, but a true performance and culinary masterpiece. Our server, Alejandra, elevated the evening even further with her warmth and impeccable hospitality. She began the experience with a complimentary tuna appetizer that was fresh and delicious, and ended the night with a beautiful dessert thanking us for our patronage. To top everything off, she surprised us with two incredible after-dinner cocktails presented in a smoke box with a lovely aroma that created the perfect finishing touch. Every aspect of the evening felt thoughtful, elegant, and memorable. UMAI exceeded every expectation, and we cannot wait to return the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommended!.

The food and service were excellent, the price was great. 4 dinners, 2 drinks, and appetizer plate of fresh shrimp, tuna, and octopus was 150.00.

The food was expertly prepared and delicious! Portions are huge! Everything comes Family style… we had so much leftover. Highly recommend! We will be back, for sure!

What a surprise! I love Mediterranean food so I knew it would be good, but the owner made recommendations for our entire meal and it was perfect! We had appetizers, salad, two main courses and dessert. Everything was delicious!! I highly recommend. Give this place a try!
