Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. As you enter Rí Rá, you can imagine yourself walking through a door that leads you across the pond to experience the best pubs of Ireland. The pub interiors were salvaged and restored in Ireland prior to being shipped to Vermont. We are proud to showcase a unique and genuine Irish pub in the heart of Burlington.

We had a fabulous meal, chosen from an innovative menu and all very tasty. In fact one of the best meals we have had in a restaurant in the US. On top the owner, Jennifer was so kind to drive us back to our hotel because we could not get a taxi anymore at 10pm. Thank you For the kindness and hospitality you gave us.

The new menu is outstanding. The halibut is a terrific addition! Excellent service even on a very busy night. The host, bartender, and servers are all aces! And the food was delicious!! Compliments to the chef! Also able to watch last night’s playoff game on their huge screens. A dynamite evening!
