Roar
$$$$•Canadian•4.6(840)ROAR is a restaurant rooted in rebellion. We honour the rebellious history of Tofino and we proudly rebel against the status quo. It’s the waves crashing and raging flames. It ’s the roar of a rebellious nature.
This isn’t like any other restaurant. We cook with live fire, and all of our food and beverage is inspired by the local people, makers and ingredients of Tofino.
Just as you would gather with friends around the campfire, we invite you to get comfy here while we share the stories behind every one of our menu items as the fire roars in the background.

We serve flavourful food that’s always fresh and fun! Our stylish yet relaxed environments are the perfect balance between “neighbourhood pub” and “upscale casual dining." - EElaineVancouver / British Columbia •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAll 4 of us enjoyed our dinner. Two of us had the carbonara pasta with spot prawns which had a poached egg in the middle- delicious! The others had pork belly and scallops & roast chicken, they liked theirs as much. We had the 2nd table in from window at front and it was lovely. We were there before sunset and it was beautiful.More infoThe Great Room- Long Beach Lodge Resort$$$$• Northwest• Tofino•4.6

My client and I were talking before I went about the incredible service of Mike who has been there for as many years as my wife and Ihave been going there. Of course he came over and said hello to us which made our night that much better . How can you not love a place where your more than just a table that occasionally shows up every 6-8 months.More infoRoar$$$$• Canadian• Tofino•4.6
