A New York City original since 1950, Paul & Jimmy's is a beloved landmark in the heart of Gramercy Park — steps from Union Square and the iconic Flatiron District. For 75 years, locals, first-timers, and celebrities have walked through the same door and received the same welcome — because here, everyone is a guest in our home.
New owners Vinny and Melanie Russo have breathed new life into this Gramercy icon, and the world is taking notice — most recently in The New York Times "Off the Menu" column by Florence Fabricant, April 2026.
Executive Chef Greg Azzollini leads a kitchen rooted in Neapolitan tradition, serving the legendary baked clams and seven-layer lasagna that made this place a neighborhood secret worth keeping. Settle into our reimagined dining room with velvet banquettes and warm ambient light, pull up a stool at our 1950s coppa-style bar, or grab a table outside when the season calls for it.
Seventy-five years in. Still the best seat in Gramercy Park.
