    Absolutely fuming !!! Traveled over an hour to be welcomed by a builder and a closed down cafe . I can’t believe this place is still accepting bookings ! A lot of time and money was wasted on the journey there . Very disappointing and unprofessional.

    After gathering my group, travelling in specifically for afternoon tea, turns out the place is closed. I was able to book as normal online, and received the confirmation text the day before, and have now been asked to review. Really frustrating to have spent time and money travelling in for this.

    I loved the decor! The food is fresh and it tastes good, the service was great, they anticipated our needs. It is a good place to come with friends and family.

    We ended up paying a lot of money for the food. Paying £45 for two doesn't seem like much for afternoon tea. However, it's just a lunch, which resembles afternoon tea, as the food is served on a turret. The food itself was good. The decor seemed nice to me because of the many flowers and bright pink colors, but it was actually a bit dated and not very clean. The toilet wasn't clean. We also ended up having to pay an extra £15 for service, which wasn't disclosed. There were four of us and we paid £105, which we somewhat regretted.

    Four friends had afternoon tea. We found it very good value for money with lovely food which you would expect from all the delicious looking cakes we had seen on display, it certainly did not disappoint. Service was very good. The table and alcove where we sat was very pretty making wonderful photos. A very enjoyable experience.

    Such a lovely place, beautiful flowers everywhere with really pretty pink scenery and the food was amazing, and waiters were so friendly! Afternoon tea here was amazing would go again!!

    The staff were absolutely lovely. Booked as a treat for my two girls. The room was fabulous for photos. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the afternoon tea looked beautiful. The only thing I’d say is there should be more options for sandwiches ideally. However they did change over some for us.
