This was a culinary experience, I was highly impressed by the fusion of Nigerian flavours presented in modern contemporary fashion. The ambience, service and cleanliness were top notch. The lamb chops were personally the best I’ve ever tasted, same with the midnight bloom cocktail. The jollof was arguably one of my favorites too -my only criticism would be for a more solid scoop of ice cream on the chin chin crumble as I’ve noticed it arrives slightly melted, other than that, it was a 10/10 experience! Incredibly proud of this institution and saddened to hear of the closure. Thank you and I wish you all the best at your future location

I really won’t recommend it, food wasn’t good, the lights were bad, but the music was great later at night. I will advise you eat before you go here, and just come for drinks and the after hours music/ band.

We visited Shakara to celebrate my son’s graduation and had a fantastic night. We’d originally booked for 7, but 3 extra guests joined us last-minute (making 10 total) and the team still managed to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. The music and drummer were brilliant—super engaging and they really brought the vibe. The food was ok, though I do feel some portions could be a bit larger for the price on certain items. Overall, it was a sensational evening and a night to remember for me and my family. Thank you, Shakara.

I absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding! We had the Moimoi, fried chicken as a starter and it was delicious! I had never tried Moimoi and I’m a big fan now! As a main we got the lamb chops! And it was fabulous! Perfectly cooked! And let’s talk about the drinks! The bartender perfectly understood his assignment! Thank you for our waiter that I think was called Abdi and the supervisor called Anthony for making our first time here an absolute delight! We will come back!

Attended the restaurant following a recommendation from a friend. However, was very disappointed with the food served. The mocktail was also very bad. At the end, we were compensated with a discount but overall service was not up to expectations
