    Well met at the door and given the option of upstairs or basement, basement chosen, and then a choice of tables offered - a great start. Sancerre Rose taken for an aperitif whilst we thought though the options. Opinion soup, moules and then the guinea fowl - all delicious. Some calvados to finish helped along with a potion of the cheesecake - again delicious. Eagerly anticipated - happily enjoyed. We’ll be back…

    Rightly storied bistro lauded by food critics and chefs alike. Bright, unpretentious upstairs room with a sun balcony is cheery and unintimidating. Staff are excellent, responsive, knoweldgable and friendly. Food...classic French and full of flavours. Can't be faulted. Delicious everything, bavette steak cooked to perfection, sauces intensely lovely. Mont Blanc dessert a must have between two. Reasonable £ for the quality and the wine list is accessible. Booking only taken up to one month in advance. Try popping in and see what they can do.
