As your chef, I cook every meal and oversee every aspect of our kitchen. We specialize in American Contemporary with a focus on the highest quality, local Vermont ingredients. Our main dishes always include premium grass fed beef, duck two ways, double thick pork chop, rack of lamb, cedar planked salmon, jumbo sea scallops and vegan specials. Desserts are made in house daily by Leslie and are both unique and delicious. Our service is directed by Leslie, my wife. She greets every guest and is constantly monitoring the dining experience.     What a fantastic dining experience. We started with the soup of the day which was an andouille sausage soup. We also had the breadbasket which was nicely toasted. The soup was outstanding, great taste and flavor. For our entrees I had the flat iron steak and my girlfriend had the branzino. Both meals were excellently prepared. The temperature on my steak was perfect. For dessert we had the panne cotta which was really good. The service was amazing. We love the place and will definitely be back to try other items.

    We visited the The Hermitage Inn for Mother’s Day brunch and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, the entire staff was welcoming and attentive, and the food came out quickly and cooked perfectly. The seafood chowder was honestly to die for, and I had one of the best red wine sangrias I’ve ever had. Between the beautiful ambiance, incredible views, and amazing food, it made for the perfect brunch. We’ll definitely be back.
