    Our server, Greg was processional, friendly, and attentive during our dinner. We were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and we were greeted with two glasses of champagne. Both the Duck and Lamb were delicious and we finished the evening with the chocolate bread pudding and sticky coffee pudding. Thanks Again, C&O!

    First time at 1799 at The Clifton. Very nice venue. Had our best dinner in the library, which was quite nice. Service was excellent. Food was very tasty. Very reasonably priced. Nice cocktails. Reasonably priced wine selections. Will come back.

    The welcome glass of bubbly was the perfect way to start the evening. The setting of the room overlooking the vineyards with twinkly lights on the ceiling was perfectly set the ambience. Each course was delicious and paired nicely with one of their wines. The main course (filet) was paired with their 2023 Reserve, which was one of the best wines I had had in VA (we bought a bottle). The service was excellent and friendly.
