    Timbers lodging was wonderful. I was able to walk the entire 2.25 mile nature trail in the evenings after my conference and the trail was very well-maintained. The scenery was gorgeous and the history of the resort/signage displayed throughout was educational and fun. While the elliptical was not working (stopped working after about two minutes into my workout), the pool was a great second option to swim laps and get a workout in - especially when it was rainy in the mornings. What made my stay over the top was the chef! The chef was outstanding! The chicken and waffles and the chocolate chip brioche French toast with pistachio glaze and orange blossom syrup were picturesque and delicious!
