From the minute we stepped into UpThai to check in, to the friendliness of the staff, the menu recommendations and the authenticity of the food, the incredible flavor on all dishes we enjoyed to the time we spent without rush - an experience I can only recommend when in the city. I have been a customer of UpThai for a few years whenever I come to town and the consistency is yet another reason to recommend it. The team cares, the food is amazing and options are plenty. We have been coming to Emilia's for almost 20 years. Whenever we're in the Bronx, whether for a Yankees game, to visit the zoo or botanical garden, dinner at Emilia's is a must. The Nonna's Sicilian meatballs, with signaling and currants, topped with whipped ricotta and shaved parmesan cheese are simply spectacular, tender and flavorful and the sauce screams to be mopped up with crusty bread. Everything I've had here has been top notch from the made in house pasta, to the fish and chicken entrees and desserts. Good cocktails and reasonably priced wines. A home away from home.

The food is excellently prepared and the service is first-rate. Most outstanding is the incredible wine list, especially the wines from Burgundy, expertly curated by Max, the sommelier. Max is exemplary with comprehensive knowledge of an unparalleled wine list.

Great food. The pizzas, pastas and the San Mateo Burger are delicious, as is all the food. This place is the real deal! Great service too.
