This restaurant is outstanding. The food, wine selection and service is outstanding. We recently dined for our anniversary. The staff was welcoming, friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and their wines. Our food choices were delicious and overall experience could not have been any better. This will be a must visit anytime in the Monterey area.

The ambiance at Shadowbrook is spectacular. Service was excellent. Food was very good. We will be back!

We have had the pleasure of enjoying many meals here at La Bicyclette over the past 5 years we have lived in Pebble Beach. Last evening we celebrated a milestone birthday on a gloomy Monday evening in early June. The restaurant was full, bustling with energy and diners waiting outside. As always, the food it outstanding. We started with a bottle of Post and Beam Chardonnay - Far Niente Wine. Crisp and not oaked. For starters we ordered the delicious mushroom caps prepared similar to escargot. Don't forget to sop up the garlic/pernod sauce with the bread. This was followed by the oysters with a bright starwberry minignonette. My husband ordered the filet cooked to perfect medium rare with fresh vegetable. I ordered the fish of the day, a light petrale sole dish served on a bed of spinach and small roasted potatoes. We opted out of dessert to enjoy the wine and ambiance. One of the best parts of the evening was our server - Christian. He was expert in his craft of taking orders, explaining specials and knowing when to remove plates and refill wine glasses without hovering. For the most part the restaurant was filled with tourists and once he realized we were locals he became even more at ease. If you ever find the opportunity to snag a reservation do it! Looking forward to dining here again.

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The staff treated us beautifully and the incredible atmosphere of the ocean with the seals and otters swimming by was magical. The staff surprised us with a special happy anniversary dessert to top everything off! We’re excited for the next time we’re in Monterey and will definitely be back!
