Best meal of our trip! Homemade pasta tasted just like it does in Italy, ravioli was out of this world. Great wine and desserts.

TAJ Indian Cuisine is the kind of place that reminds you how unforgettable a meal can be. Every dish arrives layered with flavor, rich with spice, and cooked with a level of care that’s impossible to fake. I’ve worked through nearly the entire menu at this point, and somehow every visit reveals a new favorite, whether it’s the deeply comforting butter chicken, sizzling Taj Grill specialties, or the incredible fresh-baked naan that disappears instantly at the table. The cocktails are equally thoughtful, from an expertly balanced martini to the Saitini, which may very well be the best espresso martini in Portland. Add in genuinely warm hospitality and the fact that they actively give back to the community and help feed neighbors in need, and it’s easy to understand why Taj has become such a beloved gathering place.

As amazing as always! Our server Andrew was absolutely exceptional - attentive, personable and genuinely made the entire dining experience feel special.
