Old Ebbitt Grill met all our expectations and then some! Jeremy our waiter, was absolutely fantastic! The scallops and salmon were fantastic, steak was the best we’ve ever had and the peanut butter pie blew us out of the water! We will be dining here again when we were in town. Jeremy and the staff were attentive, kind, funny and professional. Far exceeded our expectations!

Our experience was outstanding! The service was impeccable. Laura our server was so sweet and attentive. The place was very busy yet the food came out very quickly. The GM Jeff runs a tight ship. He obviously cares about his guests. The mezzes were amazing. The octopus was my favorite. My husband. The desserts were special. The Galopotita was an experience to the taste buds! We also had the Greek yogurt and apricots. Worth the calories!

If you ever wanted a beautiful and elegant High Tea experience, THIS IS IT. Harpist, china service, attentive wait staff, gorgeous room, gorgeous decorations, all accentuated the excellent tea (and this coming from a coffee drinker), amazing scones/jam/clotted cream, and together made for an amazing experience. We picked the vegetarian savories and - WOW - so incredibly varied and tasty. The sweets were in theme with Cherry blossoms (cherry mousse with matcha biscuit) and not to my taste but absolutely beautifully presented. My favorite was the caramel scone and the cherry jam - wishing I could have another today. The Tea started at 3:30 p.m. but we stayed multiple hours and the wait staff remained attentive and gracious. It was on the expensive side for us, but as a special occasion and special treat, it was very much worth it. Highly recommend!
